To qualify as a patient in Arizona, a person must have one of the following qualifying conditions:
- Cancer
- Glaucoma
- Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV)
- Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS)
- Hepatitis C
- Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
- Crohn’s disease
- Agitation of Alzheimer’s disease
- A chronic or debilitating disease or condition that causes
- Cachexia or wasting syndrom
- Severe and chronic pain
- Nausea, seizures including epilepsy
- Severe and persistent muscle spasms including multiple sclerosis
